sites countywide. Here are results from the cleanup sites:

Creek/Alamden Lake
101 volunteers removed 3,000 pounds of trash and debris.
Alamitos
Creek at Greystone
30 volunteers removed 401 pounds of trash and debris.
Unusual items found: car door, portable radio with earphones, and two
sided round mirrors (12" circles).
Berryessa
Creek at Gill Memorial
156 volunteers removed 4,600 pounds of trash and debris.
Coyote
Creek at Anderson Lake
100 volunteers removed 1,860 pounds of trash and debris
and 110 pounds of recylables. Unusual item found: barbecue pit.

Creek at Coyote Lake
10 volunteers removed 650 pounds of trash and debris and
200 pounds of recylables. Unusual items found: computer
monitor, propane tank, traffic sign, and bottle of Butterscotch rum 30
proof.

42 volunteers removed 2,250 pounds of trash and
debris.

Creek at Watson Park
34 volunteers removed 2,100 pounds of trash and debris.
The haul included 60 bags of trash, 6 shopping carts, 2
tires, 2 mattresses, an inhaler, and a pink cushioned toilet seat
cover. The most unusual item found, by Steve Muller, was
a 4-door school locker!

29 volunteers removed 1,800 pounds of trash and
debris and 550 pounds of recylables. Unusual items found:
an unopened box of baking soda, 2 pairs of rubber boots, and 1 bike
frame.

30 volunteers removed 200 pounds of trash and debris.

Gatos at Lexington Reservoir County Park
80 volunteers removed 800 pounds of trash and debris
and 100 pounds of recylables. Unusual items found: high
pressure hose with industrial filling, lawn chairs, 25' boat chain,
and 1 audio tape.

Creek at Toyon School
38 Volunteers removed 1,000 pounds of trash and debris.

Creek at Penitencia Creek County Park
20 volunteers removed 3,037 pounds of trash and
debris and 440 pounds of recylables. Unusual items found:
large spool and old bed springs.
Saratoga
Creek on Prospect Road
55 volunteers removed 370 pounds of trash and debris
and 5 pounds of recylables. Unusual items found: 1 microwave
oven, 1 art easel, a bra, a homework packet, and a shopping cart.
San
Thomas Aquino Creek at Westmont High
19 volunteers removed 900 pounds of trash and debris
and 40 pounds of recylables. Unusual items found: rusty
motorcycle frame, bowling ball, deer bones, bed frame, and many
baseballs.
